Ok, I got my camcorder working with my video editor and they’re getting ready to play nice. I was having some problems with compatibilities – my camcorder records in MP-2, which Movie Maker doesn’t like, so I had to find a workaround to convert my vid to AVI before I edit. I think I finally nailed it, but I haven’t put it to a complete test yet.
Oh, and before anyone says anything: Yes, I know MS Movie Maker is, like, the WORST thing you could use to edit a video. But it’s already on my computer and it’s free; two incredibly important things to consider. I’d love a copy of Adobe Premiere or some other uber video editing software suite, but with current monetary and (self-imposed) hacker constraints, that’s just not happening any time soon.
Anyway, with the video more or less nailed, I’m going to try my hand at posting a vid here sometime this week. I’m not sure what the subject will be yet, but I have a few ideas to try out. We’ll see how that goes.
